2000-2001 Grain Rates (repealed by Bill C-34)
The maximum rates for the 2000-2001 crop year were established in April 2000 under the Canada Transportation Act provisions at that time. These rates never took effect, due to Bill C-34 legislative changes. However, they are shown for comparative purposes since, under the Revenue Cap regime, average 2000-2001 crop year revenues per tonne are to fall 18% from what would have resulted without the Bill C-34 legislative changes.
