Liette Lacroix Kenniff

Air Travel Complaints Commissioner

Liette Lacroix Kenniff has more than 35 years of experience in the air travel industry. For the past six years, and prior to her appointment as the Government of Canada's Air Travel Complaints Commissioner, which came into effect on October 1st, 2002, Ms. Lacroix Kenniff worked for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Montréal, Québec, most recently as Manager, Corporate Travel.

From 1994 to 1996, Ms. Lacroix Kenniff was Manager of IATA's In-flight Service Division. Before that, she was General Manager for the International In-Flight Service Management Organization, a non-profit association she successfully merged with IATA in 1994. Prior to 1992, Ms. Lacroix Kenniff held several management positions with Air Canada, including Manager of Customer Intelligence and New Product Development, Manager of the Reservations Systems Redesign Project, and Manager of Customer Relations - Eastern Region.

Ms. Lacroix Kenniff graduated from the Université de Montréal with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In addition to English and French, she has a working knowledge of Italian.

She was born in Montréal, Québec. Her hometown is Montréal.
