Further to the mandate the Canadian Government Publishing Centre assigned to
the Library Advisory Committee, November 1988, the Task Group on Depository
Program Review was established to evaluate the depository services program.
It was to identify problems, define possible solutions and determine the best structure
for carrying the program into the next decade, cost effectively and efficiently.
Attached for your consideration is the report of this Task Group, its findings and
recommendations which received the unanimous endorsement of the Library Advisory
Committee 17 May 1990.
