PURPOSE

1.1

The purpose of this directive is to inform you of revised enrolment procedures
for Direct Deposit.
|
|

POLICY
|
|
2.1
|
A new "void" cheque enrolment option is now available to individuals
who wish to deposit their salary directly into a financial institution
account.
|
|
3
|
PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
|
|
3.1
|
The attached Direct Deposit document provides the necessary instructions on
obtaining information from a "void" cheque.
|
|
3.2
|
The Direct Deposit Enrolment Form (appended) has been revised to reflect the
applicant's option with respect to the completion of Part 2 of form. Please
note that existing stock should be exhausted prior to ordering the new form.

3.3
|
The Direct Deposit pay action instructions contained in PPIM 4-4-12-2 have been
amended accordingly (refer to CN NO. 12-91 dated May 24, 1991).
