PURPOSE
1.1
The purpose of this directive is to advise you of some up-coming changes to
certain communication tools issued by the Compensation Directorate, Government
Services Canada (GSC).
2
BACKGROUND
2.1
In keeping with Compensation Directorate's aim of providing improved service to
our clients, the advisory functions related to the compensation products of
pay, pensions, and insurances, have already been combined under the Advisory
Services Group of the Compensation Services Branch.
2.2
In order to reflect the fact that directives issued by the Branch can now deal
with matters other than pay, it was decided that certain communication tools
would be renamed to indicate their relevance to all three compensation
products.
