SUBJECT: Financial Administration Group (FI) Change in Scheduled Hours of Work

PURPOSE
|

1.1
|
The purpose of this directive is to advise you that the change in scheduled
hours of work for the Financial Administration Group (FI), BUD code 30400, will
be processed by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
|
|

|
In the text, the use of the masculine is generic and applies to both men and
women.
|
|

|
BACKGROUND/POLICY
|
|
2.1
|
The new collective agreement for the FI group, signed on August 20, 1998,
changed the scheduled weekly hours of work from 36.25 to 37.50 effective April
1, 1999.
|
|

|
PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
|
|
3.1
|
PWGSC has scheduled a bulk change of the Scheduled Work Week (SWW) and the
Assigned Work Week (AWW), to coincide with the first available supplementary
update as follows:
7C Pay Period 08/99 (01-04-99
to 14-04-99) will be updated Friday, March 19, 1999.
7A Pay
Period 09/99 (01-04-99 to 14-04-99) will be updated Thursday, April 8,
1999.
7B Pay Period 09/99 (01-04-99 to 14-04-99) will be updated
Thursday, April 8, 1999.
Only those accounts
with a SWW equal to 36.25 and an AWW equal to 36.25 will be changed
automatically to 37.50.
