PURPOSE |

1.1 |
The purpose of this directive is to inform the Compensation community that the National Capital Region (NCR) Production Center will be closing on March 31, 2000, and to advise of the new production location sites. |

In this text, use of the masculine is generic and applies to both men and women.

2 |
BACKGROUND |
|
2.1 |
Due to the closing of the NCR production site located at 350 King Edward Street in Ottawa on March 31, 2000, the printing of cheques, direct deposit payment statements and client related reports will be performed at the Québec and Dartmouth Production Centers. A transfer schedule is included in section 3.1 of this directive. The schedule indicates which pay offices will be affected by this change and the respective dates of transfer of printing services to the Québec and Dartmouth Production Centers. |

Government Operational Service (GOS) has taken all the necessary measures to ensure that the level of service will be met according to the Service Level Agreement. |

2.3 |
The Distribution Center located at 350 King Edward Street will continue to operate for the NCR and the current schedule for pick up will not be affected.

Transfer Schedule
The following table identifies when the transfers will occur for affected pay offices. Additionally, the table identifies the date of the first cheques and amended taxation remuneration statements that will be produced at the Québec and Dartmouth Production Centers.
