Compensation Directives
COMPENSATION COMMUNIQUÉ
April 30, 1999
SUBJECT: Compensation Directives
In response to the client community and in consultation with the Association
of Compensation Managers, a Compensation Sector Web site was established in
the fall of 1998. This site will ultimately contain the most widely-used compensation
publications. Its implementation will improve the service given to clients.
The quality of the materials delivered will be maintained, the timeliness within
which documentation is received will be improved and the ease of use of the
publications, through the installation of electronic links and search capabilities,
will be facilitated. Our site is currently being redesigned as part of a departmental
standardization exercise. The intent is to provide the same content but to change
the appearance to be consistent with other sites within Government Operational
Service Branch.
The Compensation Directives have been available electronically since October
30, 1998 and in order to reduce operating costs, a decision has been made to
discontinue the printing of all future compensation directives effective June
1, 1999.
An exception will be made for those who cannot currently access our site:
If this applies to you, please inform us no later than May
14th so that your name is not removed from our distribution list. This
notification can be sent by facsimile (819) 956-6484 or in writing
