PAY RATE IMPLEMENTATION
BULLETIN: 2006-031

SUBJECT: Ministers' Exempt Staff
Employer - Treasury Board

  1 PURPOSE
  1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a letter of authority for the Ministers' Exempt Staff Group (MS).
  1.2 A new Bargaining Unit Designator (BUD) Code 72026 has been created in this update for the Special Student Program 2006.


  2 BACKGROUND
  2.1 The following occupational group is affected by this letter of authority:

  3 POLICY
  3.1 This letter of authority was signed on May 1, 2006, and will expire on August 31, 2006.
  3.2 This letter of authority provides for rates of pay retroactive to May 1, 2006.


  4 PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
  4.1 The Pay Rate Control File (PRCF) will be updated with the new rates of pay on June 8, 2006.
  4.2 Please note that compensation advisors will be responsible for commencing the rates of pay and making any necessary adjustments for employees in this group.
