PAY RATE IMPLEMENTATION
BULLETIN: 2006-033

SUBJECT: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
General Services - Regional, Instrument Technician, Store Attendant, Chauffeur, Environmental Operator, Manipulating, Printing Operations, Trades Master and Vehicle Mechanic Groups

  1 PURPOSE
  1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a letter of authority for employees in the General Services - Regional (TE-GSR), the Instrument Technician (TE-ITE), the Store Attendant (TE-STA), the Chauffeur (TE-CHF), the Environmental Operator (TE-EVO), the Manipulating (TE-MAN), the Printing Operations (TE-PRO), the Trades Master (TE-TMR) and the Vehicle Mechanic (TE-VHE) groups at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).


  2 BACKGROUND
  2.1 The following occupational groups are affected by this letter of authority:

Store Attendant (TE-STA) 45018
Chauffeur (TE-CHF) 45027
Environmental Operator (TE-EVO) 45032
Manipulating (TE-MAN) 45040
Printing Operations (TE-PRO) 45047
Trades Master (TE-TMR) 45057
Vehicle Mechanic (TE-VHE) 45058


  3 POLICY
  3.1 These letters of authority were signed on March 22, 2005, and will expire on August 4, 2007.
  3.2 These letters of authority provide for salary increases effective August 5, 2006.


  4 PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
  4.1 The Pay Rate Control File (PRCF) has been updated with the revised rates of pay on May 12, 2005, for BUDs 45010, 45011, 45027, 45032, 45040, 45047, 45057 and 45058, and on July 28, 2005, for BUD 45018. The Regional Pay System (RPS) will automatically update the permanent line on July 24, 2006, for 7C pay accounts, and on August 8, 2006, for 7A and 7B pay accounts, for employees under BUD 45010.
  4.2 Compensation advisors will be responsible for processing the permanent line update for the following groups:

  • TE-ITE
  • TE-CHF
  • TE-EVO
  • TE-MAN
  • TE-PRO
  • TE-STA
  • TE-TMR
  • TE-VHE
