The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a letter of authority for employees in the Special Program Advisory (EX-SPA) and Executive (EX) groups, at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

This letter of authority was signed on July 21, 2006, and will expire on March 31, 2007. |

This letter of authority provides for salary increases retroactive to April 1, 2006.

PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS |

4.1 |
The Pay Rate Control File (PRCF) will be updated with the revised rates of pay on August 17, 2006. |

4.2 |
Compensation advisors will be responsible for processing all retroactivity for employees.
