PAY RATE IMPLEMENTATION
BULLETIN: 2006-053

August 23, 2006

SUBJECT: Computer Systems Administration (CS) Group - Excluded Employees
Employer - Treasury Board

  1 PURPOSE
  1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a letter of authority for excluded employees in the Computer Systems Administration (CS-05) Group.


  2 BACKGROUND
  2.1 The following occupational group is affected by this letter of authority:

Group Bargaining Unit
Designator (BUD) Code
Computer Systems Administration (CS-05) 30300


  3 POLICY
  3.1 This letter of authority was signed on August 3, 2006, and will expire on December 21, 2007.
  3.2 This letter of authority provides for salary increases retroactive to the following dates:
  • December 22, 2004
  • December 22, 2005
  3.3 This letter of authority also provides for a signing bonus in the amount of $300, payable to all employees in the CS group (BUD 30300) on July 24, 2006.


  4 PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
  4.1 The Pay Rate Control File (PRCF) will be updated with the revised rates of pay on August 31, 2006. Compensation advisors will be responsible for processing the retroactivity for these excluded employees.
  4.2 Compensation advisors will also be responsible for processing the signing bonus for these excluded employees.
