  1 PURPOSE
  1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a letter of authority for employees at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).


  2 BACKGROUND

  3 POLICY
  3.1 This letter of authority was signed on December 10, 2004, and will expire on October 31, 2007.
  3.2 This letter of authority provides for salary increases effective November 1, 2006.


  4 PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
  4.1 The Pay Rates Control File (PRCF) was updated with the revised rates of pay on January 27, 2005. The Consolidated System Control Division (CSCD) will process the permanent line update on October 16, 2006, for 7C accounts and for 7A and 7B accounts on October 30, 2006, for the following BUD groups:

90504, 90505, 90506, 90510, 90513, 90514, 90515, 90520, 90528, 90529, 90551 and 90596.

Please note that CRA compensation advisors will be responsible for processing the permanent line update for employees with rates within a minimum and maximum range.

  4.2 CRA compensation advisors will also be responsible for processing the permanent line update for the following BUD groups:

90508, 90509, 90516, 90517, 90518, 90519, 90522, 90523, 90524, 90525, 90526, 90527, 90531, 90532, 90533, 90534, 90563, 90565, 90573 and 90591.
