PAY RATE IMPLEMENTATION
BULLETIN: 2006-067

SUBJECT: Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
Various groups

  1 PURPOSE
  1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a collective agreement for employees in various Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPS) groups at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).


  2 BACKGROUND
  2.1 The following occupational groups are affected by this collective agreement:

  3 POLICY
  3.1 This collective agreement was signed on August 22, 2005, and will expire on December 21, 2007.
  3.2 This collective agreement provides for salary increases effective December 22, 2006.


  4 PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
  4.1 The Pay Rate Control File (PRCF) was updated with the revised rates of pay on September 29, 2005.
  4.2 The Regional Pay System (RPS) will automatically update the permanent line on December 7, 2006, for 7C accounts and on December 20, 2006, for 7A and 7B accounts for employees under BUD codes 90503, 90541, 90550, 90552, 90560, 90561, 90564, 90597, 90598, and 90599. Please note that compensation advisors are responsible for processing the permanent line update for employees with rates within a minimum and maximum range.
  4.3 Compensation advisors are also responsible for processing the permanent line update for employees under BUD codes 90499, 90500, 90502, 90540, 90542, 90543, 90546, 90548 and 90549.
