PAY RATE IMPLEMENTATION
BULLETIN: 2006-075

SUBJECT: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
Inspection Management (IM) Group

  1 PURPOSE
  1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with information concerning a letter of authority for employees in the Inspection Management (IM) Group at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).


  2 BACKGROUND
  2.1 The following occupational group is affected by this letter of authority:

Group Bargaining Unit
Designator (BUD) Code
Inspection Management (IM) 99597


  3 POLICY
  3.1 This letter of authority was signed on November 22, 2006, and will expire on September 30, 2007.
  3.2 This letter of authority provides for salary increases effective October 1, 2006.


  4 PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS
  4.1 The Pay Rate Control File (PRCF) will be updated with the revised rates of pay on December 7, 2006.
  4.2 Please note that compensation advisors will be responsible for processing all retroactivity for employees in this group.
