    Renewal in Action: Annual Report on Government of Canada Advertising Activities 2004-2005 is the third annual report on the Government of Canada's advertising activities. The first annual report in 2002-2003 highlighted the extensive consultation process that was undertaken to build a framework for the advertising reforms. The second report illustrated the progress in implementing key initiatives to strengthen advertising management practices across government. This year's report examines the new procedures for advertising, highlights three major campaigns and provides details of government expenditures in advertising for the 2004-2005 fiscal year.

  • A Year of Renewal: Annual Report on the Government of Canada's Advertising - 2003-2004

    Highlights some of the many changes introduced in 2003-2004 as a result of in-depth reviews of the government's advertising processes and practices. It provides background on the advertising renewal initiative and decisions that affected government advertising, and details where changes will take government advertising in the future. It also summarizes four major advertising campaigns. Finally, it lists measures that the government has taken in response to the observations in the Auditor General's November 2003 report.

  • Government of Canada Advertising Annual Report for 2002-2003

    On April 28th, 2003, Minister Goodale announced the renewal of the government's advertising practices and that Communication Canada would publish an annual report on advertising.

    The report describes activities of the 2002/03 fiscal year, which included a thorough review of government advertising activities. It also summarizes key government campaigns and provides sense of what to expect in the future for government advertising.
