Basic conditions for an employee or potential plan member to be considered for a pension transfer: |
|
- must have ceased to be employed by one employer and become employed by another employer;
- must not have received a return of contributions or any other pension benefit; and
- must be or become subject to the respective pension plan.

Service Standards |
|
- The Superannuation, Pension Transition and Client Services Sector (SPTCSS) will return telephone calls on pension transfer related general inquiries within 48 hours.
|
|
- The SPTCSS has established new service standards for various steps in the pension transfer process. These standards are outlined in detail in the Pension Portability Information Package.
