2006 Alberta Budget Impact Paper

The following items, which are relative to the compensation product, were introduced in the Alberta budget speech that was presented by the Honourable Shirley McClellan, Minister of Finance for the Government of Alberta on March 22, 2006.
ITEMS AFFECTING PWGSC COMPENSATION SYSTEMS
Personal Tax Credits
The basic personal amount, spouse or common-law partner amount and eligible dependant amount will increase by $100 to $14,899 for 2006.
Impact: PWGSC compensation systems will be programmed to reflect this change effective July 1, 2006.
