11 EXPORT


11.7.3 TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

11.7.3.1 General information

Specific requirements for ruminant products are listed below. For other products, please refer to the section on West Indies.

11.7.3.2 Import prohibitions or restrictions

Products derived from ruminants.

Only the following products are eligible:

  • bovine meat derived from animals which were less than 30 months old at the time of slaughter,
  • sheep and goat meat which was derived from animals which were less than 12 months old at the time of slaughter,
  • veal derived from animals which were 36 weeks old or younger at the time of slaughter,
  • fresh or frozen bovine liver.

NOTE: Age restriction does not apply if imported beef from countries recognized as BSE free is processed for export.

11.7.3.3 Specific or additional inspection procedures

11.7.3.4 Additional certification

In the case of ruminant products Annex A is to be issued.

11.7.3.5 Special marking and packaging requirements

Nil

Nil
