Chapter 13 Annex A and B
SCHEDULE "A"
DOMESTIC MEAT INSPECTION CONTRACT
RECOVERY OF FEES AND BILLING PROCEDURES (NAME OF PROVINCE)
- Parties hereto will amend this schedule on an annual basis, including a change in the
hourly rate to be charged for inspection services, which new rate will be effective on the
1st day of April of each year.
- The regular hours of domestic meat inspection service will be 7 1/2 hours on any day,
from Monday to Friday inclusive.
- The rate to be charged under this Agreement for regularly scheduled hours referred to in
Section 2 of this schedule will be $36.23 per hour.
- Where meat inspection services are provided in excess of the regular scheduled hours
referred to in Section 2 of this schedule, or on New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter
Monday, the day fixed by proclamation for the celebration of the birthday of the Reigning
Sovereign, Dominion Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, the
rate will be $42.96 per hour.
- Where inspection service is provided on a calendar day the minimum of hours that will be
charged will be four hours.
- The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will bill the (name of Department and
Province) for the domestic meat inspection service on a monthly basis.
- Each invoice sent by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada to the (name of
Department and Province) will include the names of plants where inspection service was
provided and for each plant will indicate the number of hours being billed at the regular
rate referred to in Section 3 of the schedule and the number of hours billed at the
premium rate of pay referred to in Section 4 of this schedule.
