SAFETY ALERTGLASS PARTICLES IN NEILSON BRAND RASPBERRY YOGURTOTTAWA, December 16, 1999 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning the public not to consume certain sizes of Neilson brand raspberry yogurt due to potential glass contamination. A voluntary recall has been issued by the company, William Neilson Limited, after receiving a complaint of a glass fragment in a 175g cup of raspberry yogurt. This alert affects the following products:
No other flavours of Neilson brand yogurt are affected. The product is distributed in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Northern Ontario. >The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
