ALLERGY ALERTUNDECLARED PEANUTS IN ANMOL BRAND TIL (SESAME) LADDUOTTAWA, March 25, 2003 -The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning consumers with allergies to peanuts not to consume Anmol brand Til (Sesame) Laddu. This product may contain peanuts that are not declared on the label. This alert is of concern to individuals with allergies to peanuts. The affected product, Anmol brand Til (Sesame) Laddu, is sold in 200 g packages. All codes are affected by this alert. This is a product of India exported by Tulaja Exports, Bombay, India. This product has been distributed in Toronto area. Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to peanuts. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
