HEALTH HAZARD ALERTDAB ORIGINAL DORTMUNDER PREMIUM LAGER BEER MAY CONTAIN GLASS PARTICLESOTTAWA, July 18, 2003 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning restaurants and bars not to serve DAB Original Dortmunder Premium Lager Beer as it may contain glass particles. Consumers who may have purchased the affected product should not consume it. The affected product, DAB Original Dortmunder Premium Lager Beer, brewed in Germany, is sold in 355 mL glass bottles bearing code 01.10.04 / A. No other code is affected by this alert. The Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) is voluntarily removing the affected product from the marketplace. The product has been distributed in Quebec. There has been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of this product.
