International Travel and Visits was officially established in the Spring of 2003. It coordinates the framework for all RCMP international travel and is headed by Insp. Bob Resch.

The Travel Section promotes the health and safety of travelling employees, manages RCMP passport and visa requirements, and operates a tracking system known as Travel and Visits Tracking System (TVTS).

The Visit Section administers and manages international law enforcement and related government visits to the RCMP.

International Travel and Visits Branch allows the RCMP to use opportunities presented by both its own travel and visits to Canada by international law enforcement delegations in the most effective and strategic way possible to better serve its priorities.
