National Memorial Service Program and Media Information:

Please be advised that we will be sending a detailed program of the National Memorial Service for media planning purposes.

The media is invited to attend and cover the National Memorial Service. There will be designated staging areas inside the Butterdome Pavillion for use by the media. This includes television, radio, and print media; more information about these staging areas will be provided in due course.

The CBC will be televising the Memorial Service and will be providing this video feed to other stations. This broadcast will also be displayed on screens located in the Butterdome Pavillion, in the overflow seating area located in the Main Gym and the Clare Drake Arena, and outside the Butterdome Pavillion.

We would also respectfully request that you do not approach the family or members of the RCMP for interviews or photos during this time of mourning.
