Salary and Benefits for Civilian Members

Salary

Salaries for each civilian member occupational group are available upon request at the Recruiting Office nearest you.

Pension Plan

Civilian Members are subject to the RCMP Superannuation Act and are eligible for a full pension at age 55 and having completed 30 years service. Prior Public Service of Canada, Department of National Defence or RCMP service can be considered for pension eligibility. 

Life Insurance

If you have not reached age 60 at the time of engagement you may be eligible for enrolment in a Basic and Optional Life Insurance Plan covering yourself, your spouse and dependent children.

Annual Leave

  • 0-5 years, 15 days
  • 5-10 years, 20 days
  • 10 + years, 25 days
