Information Technology Community
The IT community is made up of professionals, managers, and executives, classified mainly in the CS, ENG, EL and DA-Pro groups. They work in a variety of work streams with the federal Public Service, including client management, infrastructure support, architecture, policy and planning, application development and maintenance, database administration and security. The CS is the fastest growing occupational group with over 3,200.
By understanding the dynamics within the CS group, the IT community can better develop and deliver relevant technical and professional development programs that address all levels of IT workers across government.
