Professional Services (PS)
Overview
PWGSC, on behalf of a wide range of federal government departments and agencies, manages contracting for professional, science, technology, and telecommunication services, including contract administration and life cycle management of complex electronic infrastructure and systems procurement projects; specialized professional and research and development services; telecommunications systems and services, software and shared systems procurement projects and traffic management services including transportation services, central freight and central removal services and travel services.
The Government of Canada contracts for Professional Services using various methods of supply including:
Professional Services Online is an electronic procurement tool that
assists federal departments in the procurement (below
the NAFTA threshold) of professional services.
The ISS SA is available for use through a PWGSC Contracting Officer. Federal Government Departments and Agencies* interested in using the ISS SA must do so via PWGSC for any dollar value contract.
