Action Plan for Modern Comptrollership
(March 2003) SWC recognizes that modern comptrollership (MC) is critical to the achievement of its mandate and success as an organization. SWC's view of MC is much broader than just effective management. The Department sees MC as a principles-based work ethic for improved effectiveness that infuses and influences every aspect of an organization; it envisions managers and staff alike carrying out their activities by living these principles in their day-to-day work.
