Since May 1998, the Human Resources Community has been using electronic templates to submit
staffing notices directly from their desktops. This means that staffing notices now go online immediately.
The staffing notices include the job application feature which allows you to apply online.
You may also attach your resumé or use the resumé template we have provided.
Your job application will be automatically stamped with the date and time submitted and
the Human Resource Staffing Officer will be notified that your application has been received.
Important Notice
Effective December 31, 2005 a new Jobs site will be posted on Publiservice to reflect the coming into force of the Public Service Employment Act. Job Advertisements will be posted on the new site and employees will continue to have the option of applying on-line. Please note that Rights to Appeals will be replaced with Notifications of Consideration and Notifications of Appointment or Proposal and employees will be making complaints with the new Public Service Staffing Tribunal versus the Recourse Branch of the Public Service Commission.
Employees who wish to retrieve a job application submitted/saved in the previous system will be able to do so by using the copy and paste Internet browser feature until March 31, 2006. Employees who wish to maintain a record of all previous applications should transfer the data to a word processing software for future use if required.
If you are a registered user of Career Watch, please note that you will need to register again to reflect the changes of the Jobs site.
