Description: A variety of agricultural food product regulations include provisions that define contaminated products as containing chemicals, additives, heavy metals, industrial pollutants, ingredients, toxins or any other substance not permitted by, or in an amount in excess of limits prescribed under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. They also require that contaminated food products be destroyed or disposed in a way that does not harm the environment.
