Corporal Sylvain L’Heureux
Cpl. Sylvain L’Heureux started his career with the RCMP
in December 1981. Through the years, he has gained extensive operational
experience in several fields such as national security, organized crime,
and customs and excise. He is also an expert on fraud and cross-border
crime. Cpl. L’Heureux joined the “C” Division Communications
Office in March 2003 as a spokesperson and he is now the NCO I/C.
Corporal Luc Bessette
Cpl. Luc Bessette first joined the RCMP on February 10, 1984. After
serving in Newfoundland, he moved to the Service de la sécurité publique of
Saint-Hyacinthe where he worked his way up from the rank of constable, to
sergeant, lieutenant and inspector. In 2001, Cpl. Bessette returned
to the RCMP and worked at the Montréal Drugs Section and the
Criminal Intelligence Analysis Section. He was transferred to the Communications
Office as a spokesperson in March 2006.
Corporal Élaine Lavergne
Cpl. Élaine Lavergne joined the RCMP on November 22, 1994.
She was posted to Manitoba, where she served at Headingley Detachment until
1999 before being transferred to the Montréal Customs and Excise
Section, and later to the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit. On
December 1st, 2006 Cpl. Lavergne was transferred to the “C” Division
Communications Office as a spokesperson.
Corporal Richard Faucher
Cpl. Richard Faucher started his policing career with the RCMP
on March 6, 1987. His first posting was in Saskatchewan where he spent
four years before joining the Musical Ride as a rider. Next he was posted
to the Côte-Nord (Sept-Îles) and Québec City Detachments
where he worked as an investigator in Federal Enforcement, Drugs and Proceeds
of crime.
On December 1st, 2006 he was transferred to the “C” Division
Communications Office as a spokesperson.
