Description:
The Resources and Technical Survey Act authorises the collection and publication of maps, statistics and other information about Canada’s energy, mines and minerals, water and other resources. Technical surveys include geological, geophysical, geochemical, geographical, geodetic, topographical, hydrographic, hydrogeological, geotechnical, oceanographic, meteorological and other similar surveys. The Act is administered by Natural Resources Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and Environment Canada.
