Graduate Training Award - Master's Priority Announcement: Multiple Research Areas
CIHR encourages independent, innovative research through inviting applications in all areas of research through the
Graduate Training Award - Master's competition. When excellent research applications are highly rated through peer review, but are not funded due to competition-specific financial constraints, they may be eligible for support through CIHR's priority announcement process. Priority announcements represent additional funding opportunities in specific areas of research (e.g., aging, knowledge translation) that are linked to the main competition. All applicants to the
Graduate Training Award - Master's program are encouraged to review the Priority Announcement opportunities linked to the current competition.
To be eligible for priority announcement funding, applicants must apply to both the main Graduate Training Award - Master's competition and the priority announcement. Specific information on the research priority areas to be funded and how to apply are provided in each priority announcement.
