IPPH Partnerships
Since its inception, the
CIHR Institute of Population and Public Health (
IPPH) has been working closely with key partners to support, promote and advance population and public health (PPH) in Canada and abroad. For example, in collaboration with other
CIHR Institutes and external partners it has led or contributed to over 40 strategic
funding opportunities. Moving forward,
IPPH is committed to strengthening and expanding its collaborative efforts in the interest of the PPH community, particularly in light of recent changes in Canada's population and public health landscape including the appointment of the Minister of State for Public Health, the recent appointment of Canada's first Chief Public Health Officer and the establishment of the
Public Health Agency of Canada and the six national collaborating Centres.
