What is considered an international service?

Air transportation provided to or from Canada is considered to be an international service. This includes transborder air service between Canada and the United States.

What is a "transborder" service?

A transborder service is air transportation provided between a point in Canada and a point in the United States.

What types of fares on international flights may I complain about?

You may complain about any type of airfare on either a scheduled Canadian or foreign carrier operating internationally.

The Agency does not have jurisdiction over the fares charged by tour operators for international charter services. For complaints concerning these, please contact the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
