The Partnership Branch manages some corporate programs:
The Partnership for Health System Improvement (PHSI) program aims to produce timely, high quality evidence with short-term positive results for the Canadian health care system within applied health services and policy research priority areas.
The Small Health Organization Partnership Program (SHOPP) is designed to foster partnership opportunities with small health charities and not-for-profit organizations with modest health research funding capacity by co-funding training and salary awards.
The Regional Partnerships Program (RPP) works with smaller provinces to match funds available for health research. CIHR and its federal, provincial and territorial partners work collectively and creatively to engage and build the health research enterprise in Canada.
Other partnering opportunities are available either through collaborations with the Institutes or with CIHR's Innovation and Industry programs.
