Grants
Funding opportunities for individuals or groups wishing to conduct research as specified in an approved proposal.
Examples of Grant Programs include: Operating Grants, Team Grants and Pilot Project Grants.

Funding opportunities for independent researchers who require individual salary support during the conduct of research.

Training
Funding opportunities for trainees and fellows, for the purpose of acquiring the experience and knowledge necessary to support a career in research.
Examples of Training Programs include: Doctoral Research Awards and Fellowships.

Funding opportunities to assist individuals or groups in obtaining the necessary conditions for research, forming networks and translating knowledge.
Examples of Research Related Activities include: Networking development grants and Research resource grants which include funding for equipment and facilities, databases and research tools.
