Doctoral Research Awards Application Package

The Doctoral Research Awards do not require Registration.

Deadline for application: October 15.

Number of copies: 1 copy of application and appendices.

Application Process

1. Review the CIHR Research Personnel Awards Guidelines and the list of Opportunities by Training Program.

2. Print and read the following PDFs to familiarize yourself with the application requirements:

4. Have the three Sponsor's reports ready - [PDF (fillable, 118 KB) | PDF (24 KB) | Help ].

5. Have the original transcripts ready.

6. Have your PIN ready.

7. Complete the Training Module - [Web Forms].

8. Complete the Common CV (Validated for CIHR) - http://www.commoncv.net/ [External Site]. 

9. Have your supervisor(s) complete the Common CV (Validated for CIHR) - http://www.commoncv.net/ [External Site]. 

10. Send 1 copy by courier to:
