2.0 MINIMUM MANDATORY CAPABILITIES OF ALL BID MACHINES:

2.1 Each bid machine MUST have the following capabilities.

3.0 MINIMUM SYSTEM INCLUSIONS TECHNICAL GROUP, ENTRY CLASS:

3.1 As a minimum, (application software is not included) all systems bid must include:

3.1.1 workstation/server;
3.1.2 workstation/server power cabling as required;
3.1.3 64 MB of RAM as a minimum must be bid.

3.1.3.1 In the option item listing, by bid machine, the bidder must provide, if available, option(s) to reduce system RAM to 32 MB;

3.1.3.2 If 64 MB of RAM is not enough in benchmark testing to meet the RFSO category performance level requirement(s) the bidder must:

• bid the appropriate benchmark required RAM so that the bid machine will meet or exceed the appropriate RFSO benchmark requirements instead of the RFSO specified minimum 64 MB of RAM;

• if required to meet/exceed the category performance requirements, include the appropriate/required RAM in the list of deliverables & price accordingly. Delete the RFSO 64 MB minimum.

3.1.4 2 GB Disk Drive;
3.1.5 floppy drive 1.44 MB (minimum);
3.1.6 ethernet connectivity cabling, connectors terminators and all software/drivers/utilities required;
3.1.7 client audio 16 bit (minimum);
3.1.8 one vacant package slot after configuration;
3.1.9 monitor (as detailed further herein), power cable, connectivity cabling and all required software/drivers/utilities;
3.1.10 3 button mouse;
3.1.11 101/02, TBITS 5 or vendor bid keyboard, customers choice at time of purchase; (use these words in the list of deliverables)
3.1.12 latest version of the UNIX Operating System (O/S), media included;
3.1.13 all O/S software, drivers, utilities, patches required, media included;
3.1.14 O/S license (standard issuance or minimum 1.2 users);
3.1.15 all attributes (software) normally bundled with the operating system, medial included;
3.1.16 operating system software/drivers/utilities are to be installed and bootable;
3.1.17 diagnostics;
3.1.18 all available user and technical reference manuals normally included by the manufacturer; and,
3.1.19 minimum 1 year on-site warranty;
3.1.20 all other requirements that are essential to ensure client intended functionality.

3.2 As a minimum all peripherals (whether mandatory or optional) must include:

3.2.1 the peripheral;
3.2.2 the peripheral housing and/or mounting hardware as required;
3.2.3 all power and connectivity cabling, connectors/terminators, adapter card(s) as required;a
3.2.4 all related operating system software/drivers/utilities;
3.2.5 diagnostics;
3.2.6 all available user and technical reference manuals normally included by the manufacturer;
3.2.7 minimum 1 year on-site warranty;
3.2.8 all other requirements that are essential to ensure client intended functionality.
