Dr. Michael McDonaldDr. Michael McDonald

University of British Columbia

Dr. Michael McDonald occupies the Maurice Young Chair in Applied Ethics at the University of British Columbia. He is the founder and Director of the Centre for Applied Ethics. Dr. McDonald is a member of the Canadian Council for Animal Care and served as Deputy Chair of the Tri-Council Working Group on Ethics. Dr. McDonald's research is currently focused on issues of research ethics and policy. He is an active researcher in bioethics, business ethics, and political philosophy.
