Business Services and Operations Support
This directorate provides leadership in the development and
implementation of a continuum of strategies and approaches
to ensure the fair, equitable and transparent management of
the acquisition of goods and services associated with the
delivery of services on a fee-for-service basis to the Canadian
Commercial Corporation and Technology Partnerships Canada;
provides the professional services and expertise required
to manage corporate activities such as contract quality assurance
and assets management; plans, organizes and directs the development
and implementation of plans, guidelines, training plans and
processes to improve the Sector's procurement expertise; and
supports the Sector in the development of business plans,
audit plans, policies and inputs to corporate and government
initiatives. In addition, the Directorate is responsible for
planning, organizing and directing the Sector's European offices
(Koblenz and London) and providing coordination services and
support for the Washington office.
