Healthy Images is a collection of photographs and images that portray positive,
healthy lifestyles by incorporating safe usage of equipment, clothing, and
physical environments (including sun safety), appropriate skill levels and
supervision. All images may be used free of charge, with prior permission
from the Public Health Agency of Canada, only to promote healthy lifestyles
and for non-commercial purposes. The Public Health Agency of Canada must
be credited when an image is used.
On this page you will find both high-resolution (PCD) and low-resolution
files (JPEG). The low-resolution files are ideal for web sites and other
electronic mediums. They can be accessed by simply clicking on the JPEG
link or on the thumb-nailed image. The high-resolution files are for print
publications, and are fairly large (4-6 MB). The high-resolution files can
be saved to your computer's hard drive by right clicking on the PCD link,
and selecting "Save File To Disk" on the pop-up panel.
