Cost Reference Manual
The Cost Reference Manual is a reliable tool for developing preliminary estimates
(for both capital and operations and maintenance) to ensure that the cost impact
of all feasible alternatives is reviewed prior to design commitments. It also
provides the technical input for preparing the annual Treasury Board submission
for the funding of the operation and maintenance for capital assets on Indian
reserves.

Asset Condition Reporting System
The Asset Condition Reporting
System is a computerized system that holds information on the current physical
condition of assets funded for Operation and Maintenance by INAC. It is updated
every year based on the results of on-site inspections by consultants and Tribal
Council Technical Unit staff. The data is used in planning and budgeting activities
related to these capital assets.
Capital Asset Management System
The Capital Asset Management system is an automated system that records information
for the operation and maintenance of infrastructure sub-activity.
The Capital Asset Management System is comprised of three systems.
They are the Capital Assets Inventory System, the Asset Condition
Reporting System and the Capital Management Database.
