Quality of Care
Quality health care is about delivering the best possible care and achieving the best possible outcomes for people every time they deal with the health care system or use its services. Essentially, it means doing the best possible job with the resources available.
Canada's health care system offers a high standard of care, with quality and
patient safety as a top priority. Health Canada works with the provinces and
territories, health professionals and providers, researchers, agencies, policy
makers and the public to achieve excellence in health care delivery to all
Canadians, and to continuously improve the quality and safety of that care.
