The Economic Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) was
established in April 1997 to advise the Executive Director of the Pest
Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) on specific ways to improve efficiency and
cost effectiveness without compromising health or environmental protection and
while maintaining industry competitiveness.
EMAC meets approximately twice per
year. Consistent with Government principles of openness and transparency,
meeting notes will be posted on the PMRA website, beginning with the meeting of
November 2, 1998.
