2006 CANADIAN SUNSET CEREMONIES

Background
Since its first performance in 1988, the Canadian Sunset Ceremonies have
grown from being a local presentation to what is now a popular and well-received
public relations event for the RCMP in the National Capital Region.
On average, between 8,000 to 10,000 people attend the ceremonies nightly.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is pleased to present the 2006 Canadian
Sunset Ceremonies in Ottawa, ON from June 28 to July 2 inclusive.
Every year, proceeds donated by the crowd are given to pre-selected
charities that are helping to make a difference in our communities.
Rain or shine, performances run nightly from 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. at
the RCMP stables. Admission and public parking for the Canadian Sunset
Ceremonies are both free.
Location
The RCMP stables are located on St. Laurent Blvd., at the Canadian
Police College grounds (OC Transpo route #7), or access the free parking
directly off the Rockcliffe Parkway.
