Regulatory Proposals Part I
Since April 1999, the schedules published in Canada Gazette, Part I, posted here relate solely to regulatory initiatives put forward by the Food Directorate. The table below lists all regulatory proposals published in Canada Gazette, Part I. Readers are
invited to provide comments on these proposals within the specified time period, beginning from pre-publication in
Canada, Gazette, Part I, indicated in the respective Regulatory Impact Analysis Statement (RIAS). Comments or questions can be sent to the following address:
sche-ann@hc-sc.gc.ca. The RIAS
can be obtained by clicking on each regulatory proposal. These proposed amendments to the Regulations remain
proposals until they are sanctioned by the Governor-in-Council at which time they come into force. The
regulatory amendments are then published in the Canada Gazette, Part II. All regulations that are listed in
the table to Part II
are compulsory regulatory requirements.
