Appointment Framework

The Consultation Group on the Appointment Framework advises the Public Service Commission on discrete elements of the appointment framework. The group also acts as a sounding board for obtaining early feedback and advice from bargaining agent and departmental representatives on a variety of policy elements that the PSC is developing as part of its appointment framework. Members seek to promote a coherent and efficient approach to consultation and works towards minimizing any potential duplication with other consultative forums. Currently, the consultation group is working on implementing its responsibilities under the new Public Service Employment Act (PSEA).
