Karyne

My name is Karyne and I am in the Bachelor of Communications program at the University of Ottawa. Some day, I want to work in public relations or marketing. I am from a great little corner of Quebec that is famous for its blueberries. If you guessed Saguenay/Lac-St-Jean, you're right. I love the outdoors and wide open spaces.

Throughout the project, we had to take on many duties, such as managing a virtual team. It was a really interesting experience because I got to know some amazing people from across Canada. It was really rewarding because I made a lot of friendships, not only with the team leaders but with the members of the virtual team as well. But that's not all. We also had our monthly team leader meetings, which were great experiences. I got to know some great people and made new contacts. At the meetings, we talked about a lot of subjects such as marketing, site design and content, communications, television and, not to be forgotten, young people. These were all interesting subjects and I got a lot out of them.

This site was designed by young people, for young people. We are the future, and we have the right to be prepared to take that big step in life.
